We’ve been working on this site for a while now, trying to come to grips with the fact that the internet is truly becoming extremely clogged with blogs, social networks, bookmarking sites, newsfeed aggregators, and just about everything else you can imagine, with one very common theme: CONTENT. BigBlueBottle is not different in that aspect, but what it will try to accomplish is this: You will find a growing database of content, focused on Social Issues, Social Actions, and Events and Activities that help to try to make the world we live in a better place for everyone.
All that said, we DO focus on issues near and dear to our hearts. As such, you’ll find that a majority of our content focuses on our personal efforts to raise funding for events in which we participate, such as the Pan Massachusetts Challenge, the single largest athletics-oriented fund-raising event in the world. It is responsible for nearly half of all money raised by the Jimmy Fund, the fund-raising arm of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
